Medicine Buddha Reiki
The Medicine Buddha is the Buddha of healing and it is considered highly
beneficial to meditate on his image and chant his mantra with the desire
to alleviate suffering and attain enlightenment. As an enlightened being,
the Medicine Buddha has compassion for all living beings and helps protect
them from physical and mental illnesses, as well as other dangers and
obstacles. He also helps us to eradicate the three poisons – attachment,
hatred and ignorance – which, according to Buddhist teaching, are
the source of all sickness and danger. He is the ‘Buddha doctor’,
the embodiment of the collective healing power of all the Buddha’s
and possesses the ability to see the true cause of all afflictions whether
physical, psychological or spiritual.
For many centuries, Buddhists
have been reciting his mantra prayer in order to bring an ultimate healing
of spiritual disease, along with cures for common problems of the body
and mind. By reciting the Medicine Buddha’s name or mantra, we
too can obtain his special healing blessings.
This powerful system of Reiki imparts the secrets of healing and happiness.
It is based on Medicine Buddha practice and uses chants and mantras
