I hold Original Usui Reiki courses are held every week of the year, I teach One to One for those wishing to have Private tuition and to learn at your own pace.
I also teach in groups no larger than 4 people. This way I can still give you the attention that is required for that level.
I have a long history of Reiki training which has taught me so much and over the last 10 years, I have trained with masters with very little knowledge to ones with vast amounts of healing knowledge, some courses I have attended have been a waste of my time and money and because of that I do not want others to fall in the traps I have done over the years.
Yes I have learned through my experiences and I am graceful for the lessons that have been learned along the way.
Lots of Reiki Teachers claim that what they are teaching is "Original Usui Reiki", but , as I have learned through attending such courses that some teachers are just very good at putting a advert or website together in such a way that their wordings seem perfect until you either attend such a course or really LOOK at the wording.
Before I get bombarded with e-mail's I have to say that all Reiki works whether it is Eastern or Western.
I do not claim to be perfect and to say that I offer the best teachings around would be a complete fabrication. What I can offer people is very down to earth teachings, comprehensive manuals, my years of experience as a Therapist, life long ongoing support, honest answers, a healing session from me for all students, unaltered techniques from living students of Usui, training's adjusted to your needs, quality certificates.
After studying Western Reiki for which we must thank Mrs. Takata and the 22 masters she trained, I learned from a Teacher who was taught by Barbara Ray ( The Radiance Technique(R) (TM)) Mrs. Ray was taught by Mrs.Takata.
Barbara Ray was one of the 22 masters trained by Takata and I was very pleased to receive training with such a short lineage to Takata. I studied up to the Second Degree and I had a spiritual attunement experience which lives with me to this day. I felt so connected with the energy that no book or text could ever convey how special my reconnection to this wonderful energy could be.
Mrs. Ray claims she has the complete 7 degree levels of Reiki which only she had from Takata. I trained with a master who offered the Original 7 degree system up to 7th degree and I enjoyed it very much, I loved the new levels and the energies that came with them,but it still lacked something and that something is the energy exercises, Kotodama and the Meditations that are being taught by Myself, Taggart King & Others.
One of my other lineage's can be traced through Phillis Furmoto who was Mrs. Takata's Grand daughter and her teachings certainly differ from what Barbara Ray teaches. Having both lineage's to draw from I can see the benefits of both sets of teachings for those of you wishing to study Western Reiki.
Original Usui Reiki
After many years of study and expense I have always wanted to find out what Mikao Usui taught, not just the basics which have been available for years, not the add ons people have taught, although there is some very useful techniques which I have learned over the years.
I have been searching for the Teachings of Mikao Usui and finally I met a man who taught me the things that were missing from Usui Reiki. This man is Taggart King, he is a wonderful teacher with knowledge which has come from living students of Usui, It was really nice to get the teachings from living students rather than someone's version of what may have been taught.
I learned the Kotodama, The different Reiju Empowerments for the different levels of Reiki, The daily energy exercises, I was also privileged to receive advanced meditations from Chris Marsh to whom I am very grateful. Chris brought Usui's teachings from Japan from the living students of Usui. These things were missing from my knowledge of Reiki and now I have the missing pieces of the jigsaw puzzle.
